Dario Amodei is an American AI researcher and entrepreneur, the co-founder and CEO of Anthropic, the company behind the Claude AI models. Before co-founding Anthropic with his sister Daniela in 2021, he was vice president of research at OpenAI, where he worked on GPT-2 and GPT-3. He holds a PhD in biophysics from Princeton and wrote the essays Machines of Loving Grace and The Adolescence of Technology.
