You're Only Old Once!
By Dr. Seuss
Categories: Children's Books
Subtitled A Book for Obsolete Children, this 1986 picture book for adults by Dr. Seuss came out on his eighty-second birthday. Its elderly hero visits the Golden Years Clinic on Century Square for Spleen Readjustment and Muffler Repair. There he is poked, prodded and ogled, endures long waits and bizarre tests on strange machines, and comes through it all in a comic take on aging that grew from Seuss's own many hours in doctors' waiting rooms.

- Richard Branson: “I have been reading a lot of books by one of my favourite authors, Dr Seuss... There is more wisdom and humour in his cartoons and rhymes than in any number of lengthy and highbrow books.”
