The World of Mr. Mulliner

Categories: Literature & Fiction

P. G. Wodehouse collects his comic stories narrated by Mr. Mulliner, a regular at the Angler's Rest pub who has a tale about a relative for every occasion. The stories follow Mulliner's many nephews and cousins, including curates, dentists, poets and Hollywood scriptwriters, as they fall in love and stumble into absurd trouble. Told with Wodehouse's elaborate wordplay and farcical plotting, they are among the best of his short fiction outside the Jeeves and Blandings series.
