The Time of the Transference
Last updated October 31, 2026
Jon-Tom has spent a year among talking animals, where his music makes him a kind of sorcerer. When burglars snap the duar that channels his power, he is an ordinary man again and sets out to get it repaired. With his staff and the complaining otter Mudge, he flees pirates into a cave that opens onto San Antonio, the shortcut home he has long wanted. Texas is not welcoming. It is Alan Dean Foster's sixth Spellsinger book.
