The Stainless Steel Rat
Categories: Science Fiction & Fantasy
The first Stainless Steel Rat novel by Harry Harrison. Slippery Jim diGriz is a brilliant con man and thief in a far-future galaxy where crime has all but vanished, until the Special Corps catches him and recruits him as an agent, on the principle that it takes a rat to catch a rat. Stuck on routine desk work, he discovers that someone is secretly building a battleship and sets off after the culprit, the beautiful and deadly Angelina, in a witty, fast-paced caper.
