The Moment of the Magician
Last updated October 31, 2026
Jon-Tom keeps working to turn music into magic in the Bellwoods when word comes of a sinister magician far to the south. The stranger summons lightning, commands faceless flying demons and claims to come from another world, perhaps Jon-Tom's own. Hoping they might find a way home together, he sets out with his companions, assured by his mentor that the southlands are tropical, friendly and largely uninhabited. The fourth of Alan Dean Foster's Spellsinger novels.
