The Minpins

Billy's mother has told him never to go through the garden gate into the dark forest beyond, so one day he does exactly that. In the woods he meets the Minpins, tiny people who live inside hollow trees. The Minpins are in danger, because a galloping monster called the Gruncher stalks the forest and they are vanishing by the thousands. Roald Dahl's picture-book story follows Billy as he works out how to defeat the beast before it catches him too.
