The Deavys
Last updated October 31, 2026
Simwan Deavy and his sisters are non-Ords, short for non-Ordinary. They study hexing and enchanting along with history and math, and have a ghost for an uncle and a talking cat, Pithfwid. Then a bottle of Truth is stolen from the pharmacy, and their mother, whose life depends on it, grows weaker. With Pithfwid's help, the Deavys track the thief, the Crub, to his lair in New York City, in this fantasy by Alan Dean Foster.
