Scrambled Eggs Super!
By Dr. Seuss
Categories: Children's Books
Peter T. Hooper is tired of ordinary hen's eggs, so he sets out to cook a dish he calls Scrambled Eggs Super-dee-Dooper-dee-Booper. Seuss's 1953 rhyming tale tracks his hunt for eggs laid by extraordinary birds. His quest leads to mountains, jungles and seas in pursuit of creatures such as the Ruffle-Necked Sala-ma-goox. In 2021 Dr. Seuss Enterprises announced it would stop publishing the book, saying it portrays people in ways that are hurtful and wrong.

- Richard Branson: “I have been reading a lot of books by one of my favourite authors, Dr Seuss... There is more wisdom and humour in his cartoons and rhymes than in any number of lengthy and highbrow books.”
