Quofum
Last updated October 31, 2026
Quofum, a planet beyond Commonwealth space in Alan Dean Foster's novel, appears on long-range scans only intermittently, and a small science team goes to explore it. Its four scientists find oceans of dilute alcohol and several sentient species that seem unrelated. Their study of a world that defies the usual rules of evolution is cut short when one of the crew turns out to be a Qwarm assassin and leaves them stranded.
