Pirate Latitudes
Last updated October 31, 2026
In 1665 Jamaica, the privateer Captain Charles Hunter gathers a crew of specialists to seize a Spanish treasure galleon. The ship lies in a harbor guarded by a fortress said to be impossible to attack. The daring plan runs into storms, treachery and stranger dangers at sea. The manuscript was found among Michael Crichton's papers after his death, and the novel draws on the history of Caribbean piracy and colonial rivalry.
