Last updated October 31, 2026
Marcus Walker, a young Chicago commodities trader and former college football star, is attacked while camping and wakes aboard an alien starship. He is part of a cargo of creatures from primitive worlds, to be sold as pets far across the galaxy. One fellow captive is George, a dog whose intelligence and speech have been enhanced. Walker refuses to accept his fate. It opens Alan Dean Foster's Taken trilogy.
