Jed the Dead
Last updated October 31, 2026
Ross Ed Hager has never left Texas and Louisiana. Driving toward the coast, he finds the body of an alien with three eyes and six limbs, names it Jed, and takes it along for the ride. Odd things happen wherever the pair go. Word spreads, the government takes notice, and Ross Ed and his lifeless companion end up among the most wanted beings in the universe. The road trip, as Alan Dean Foster tells it, is played for comedy.
