A selection of poems by the 13th-century Persian poet and Sufi mystic Rumi, newly translated from the Farsi by the poet and musician Haleh Liza Gafori. The poems deal with love, longing, surrender and spiritual awakening, and Gafori's translations aim to keep their wit, energy and Islamic roots intact. The short collection is meant to be read slowly, a poem or two at a time.

- Tim Ferriss: “A vibrant selection of poems by the great Persian mystic with groundbreaking new translations by Haleh Liza Gafori. Read 1–2 poems before bed each night and thank me later.”
