Fantastic Mr Fox

Three farmers, Boggis, Bunce and Bean, raise chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys and loathe the fox who raids them. In Roald Dahl's 1970 story, they shoot off Mr. Fox's tail and lay siege to his hole with shovels and mechanical diggers, hoping to starve him and his family out. Mr. Fox answers by tunneling toward their storehouses and sharing the spoils with Badger and the other hungry animals of the hill. Wes Anderson adapted it as a 2009 stop-motion film.
