Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are?
By Dr. Seuss
Categories: Children's Books
When things seem bad and someone starts to feel sour and blue, the wise old man in the Desert of Drize has some advice. In Dr. Seuss's rhyming picture book, he points out all the misfortunes others suffer that the listener has been spared. The cast includes Herbie Hart, who cannot make his Throm-dim-bu-lator start, and poor Ali Sard, who must mow a huge cactus yard. The verses offer an upbeat lesson in perspective and gratitude.

- Richard Branson: “I have been reading a lot of books by one of my favourite authors, Dr Seuss... There is more wisdom and humour in his cartoons and rhymes than in any number of lengthy and highbrow books.”
