Herschell Gordon Lewis

Herschell Gordon Lewis was an American copywriter and filmmaker who chaired the direct-marketing agency Communicomp and wrote dozens of books on advertising copy. His 1963 film Blood Feast pioneered splatter horror. He died in 2016.
