Which Lie Did I Tell?: More Adventures in the Screen Trade
Categories: Arts & Photography, Biographies & Memoirs
Which Lie Did I Tell? (2000) is William Goldman's follow-up to Adventures in the Screen Trade, looking back on his screenwriting career in the 1980s and 1990s, including The Princess Bride and Misery. He mixes stories about studios, stars and failed projects with practical lessons on how screenplays work and why so many films go wrong. It is part memoir and part guide to the craft of writing for film.
