When We See You Again
Categories: Biographies & Memoirs
On October 7, 2023, Rachel Goldberg-Polin's twenty-three-year-old son, Hersh, was taken hostage from a music festival in southern Israel. For eleven months she and Jon Polin, Hersh's father, worked in public and behind the scenes to free the hostages, until Hersh and five other captives were killed after 328 days. Published in 2026, her memoir recounts that period and her struggle to live with grief, and reflects on memory and perseverance. Jon Polin contributes an afterword.
