- Fareed Zakaria: “This week's Book of the Week is Paul Brinkley's "War Front to Store Front." I talked about this last week. Brinkley was the Pentagon official who was tasked with getting capitalism going in Iraq and Afghanistan. And here he recounts his fascinating experiences. He did great work there and this is a wonderful account of the lessons he learned that apply well beyond the Middle East.”
