Total Chaos: The Story of the Stooges / As Told by Iggy Pop

By Jeff Gold

Categories: Arts & Photography, Biographies & Memoirs

Music historian Jeff Gold and collector Johan Kugelberg spent two days with Iggy Pop in Miami, showing him rare Stooges memorabilia and recording his account of the Detroit band he founded. Told entirely in Pop's words and illustrated with hundreds of photographs, Gold's 2016 Third Man Books volume follows the Stooges from their late 1960s start through collapse, a decades-later reunion and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, with contributions from Joan Jett, Johnny Marr and others.
