To Say Nothing of the Dog is a comic science fiction novel by Connie Willis, published in 1997. In 2057, historian Ned Henry has made too many trips back in time searching for a hideous vase for the rebuilding of Coventry Cathedral. Sent to Victorian England to rest, he must fix a time disruption caused by a cat brought forward from the past. The novel, inspired by Three Men in a Boat, won the Hugo and Locus awards.
