The Story of My Life is Helen Keller's autobiography, written while she was a student at Radcliffe College and first published in 1903. Keller describes losing her sight and hearing as a toddler after an illness, her early years of frustration and the arrival of her teacher, Anne Sullivan. She tells how she learned to communicate through finger spelling, then to read, write and speak. The book also includes letters and an account of her education.
