The Lincoln Lawyer is a 2005 legal thriller by Michael Connelly, author of the Harry Bosch series. It introduced defense attorney Mickey Haller and was adapted into a 2011 film and a Netflix series. Haller works out of the back seat of his Lincoln Town Car, defending small-time clients around Los Angeles. When a wealthy real estate agent accused of assault hires him, the case looks like a payday, until Haller realizes his client may be linked to an earlier crime that sent an innocent man to prison.
