The False White Gospel: Rejecting Christian Nationalism, Reclaiming True Faith, and Refounding Democracy is a 2024 book by Jim Wallis, the evangelical pastor and founder of Sojourners, published by St. Martin's Press. Wallis argues that white Christian nationalism is a dangerous distortion of Christianity that threatens American democracy, and he calls on people of faith to reclaim the teachings of Jesus, including love of neighbour and care for the poor, as a foundation for civic life.
