The Emprint Method (1985) by Leslie Cameron-Bandler, David Gordon and Michael Lebeau is a guide to identifying how people achieve their skills and abilities, from Neuro-Linguistic Programming's work on modelling excellence. The authors describe a method for eliciting the internal processes behind an ability, including how a person relates to time, criteria and cause and effect, so that the pattern can be learned and reproduced by others. They apply it to tasks such as motivation, decision-making and learning.
