Categories: History, Politics & Social Sciences
The Emperor Wears No Clothes is Jack Herer's history of hemp and cannabis, first published in 1985. It surveys the plant's past uses for paper, rope, cloth, fuel, food and medicine, and argues that U.S. marijuana prohibition rested on propaganda and economic interests. The 11th edition was published by Quick American Archives in 2000.

- Joe Rogan: “I got to hang out with some of the leaders in the cannabis movement, like the great Jack Herer, author of “The Emperor Wears No Clothes,” THE definitive book on marijuana and the history of it’s use, a fantastic, eye opening resource that’s changed the way a lot of people look at the plant.”
