Drawing on Taoist philosophy, military strategy and the history of economic thought, he argues that investors should seek positional advantage by taking indirect, roundabout paths rather than chasing immediate gains. Spitznagel also explains how central bank interventions distort markets and how investors can profit from these distortions.
