Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle & Tarzan and the Lost Empire
Categories: Science Fiction & Fantasy
This Del Rey omnibus pairs two of Edgar Rice Burroughs's lost-world Tarzan novels. In Tarzan, Lord of the Jungle (1928), Tarzan follows a young American, James Hunter Blake, into a hidden valley where descendants of medieval crusaders still live as knights in two rival cities, while an Arab treasure hunter's raiders threaten the region. Tarzan and the Lost Empire (1929) sends him after a missing explorer into remote mountains that hide a surviving outpost of ancient Rome.
