Stigmatized: A Tuberculosis Memoir is a graphic memoir by Mongolian artist Handaa Enkh-Amgalan. She tells how she contracted tuberculosis as a young woman in Mongolia and went through long treatment, facing harsh side effects and the stigma attached to the disease. Through her drawings she portrays family, hospital life and the social pressures she endured, and shows how tuberculosis continues to affect poor communities around the world.
