Savrola

Winston Churchill's only novel, first published in 1900. Set in the fictional Mediterranean republic of Laurania, it tells of Savrola, a liberal popular leader who opposes the dictator President Molara and becomes involved with the president's wife, Lucile, as a revolution unfolds.
