On This Airplane (2022) by Lourdes Heuer, illustrated by Sara Palacios, is a picture book about a family flying to a new home. On board, someone travels solo, two travel as one, three return and four set out. The young family meets the many people found on any flight, including a bookworm, a businessperson, tourists, crying babies and daydreamers, each with their own story, all heading somewhere together.
