Nudibranch
Categories: Literature & Fiction
Nudibranch is a 2019 collection of short stories by the British Nigerian writer Irenosen Okojie, author of Butterfly Fish, published by Dialogue Books. It includes Grace Jones, the story that won the AKO Caine Prize for African Writing in 2020. Ranging across time, continents and the boundaries of reality, the surreal and inventive stories feature outsiders, shapeshifters and people unmoored by grief and desire, told in a bold, experimental style that has drawn praise from writers including Bernardine Evaristo.
