Merlin's Tour of the Universe
Categories: Science & Math
Neil deGrasse Tyson's first book answers questions about the universe through Merlin, a wise visitor from the planet Omniscia. Merlin responds to questions from readers of all ages about the planets, stars, galaxies, black holes and the laws of physics, often with help from famous friends such as Galileo, Newton and Einstein. First published in 1989 from Tyson's magazine column, the book was revised and updated in 2024 with new illustrations by his brother Stephen J. Tyson.
