Max at Night (2016) by Ed Vere is a bedtime picture book and the follow-up to Max the Brave. Max the kitten is ready for bed and says good night to everything he loves, but the moon is nowhere to be seen. Unable to sleep without finishing his ritual, Max sets out into the night, climbing a tree, the rooftops, the tallest building and the highest hill in search of the moon.
