Killing Rommel
Categories: Literature & Fiction
Killing Rommel, first published in 2008, is Steven Pressfield's novel of a British Long Range Desert Group patrol sent behind German lines in North Africa in 1942 on a mission to kill or capture Erwin Rommel. The story is told by a young officer, Lieutenant R. Lawrence Chapman, recalling the operation years later, and follows the patrol's trucks across the Libyan desert, their raids on Axis supply lines and the toll of the campaign.

- Joe Rogan: “Like Steven Pressfield, brilliant author. ... and all of a sudden he writes Legend of Bagger Vance and all these great books and it becomes hugely successful and turned it around.”
