Jeremy (1973) is a novel by John Minahan, adapted from the film of the same year, about first love between two teenagers in New York City. Jeremy Jones, a shy student at a Manhattan performing arts high school who plays the cello and follows horse racing, falls for Susan, a young dancer new to the school. As their romance grows, they learn that her father plans to move the family away, leaving them little time together.
