In a Dark, Dark Wood is Ruth Ware's debut psychological thriller about a hen party that goes terribly wrong. Nora, a reclusive crime writer, is surprised to be invited to the bachelorette weekend of Clare, a friend she has not spoken to in ten years. At a glass house deep in the English woods, old tensions rise. Later Nora wakes up in a hospital with no memory of what happened, and must piece together the events that led to a death.
