I'd Like the World to Buy a Coke, by business journalist David Greising, is a 1998 biography of Roberto Goizueta, the Cuban-born chemist who led the Coca-Cola Company as chairman and chief executive from 1981 until his death in 1997. The book covers Goizueta's flight from Cuba, his rise through the company, the failed launch of New Coke in 1985 and his focus on shareholder value, during which Coca-Cola's market value grew from about four billion dollars to more than 140 billion dollars.
