Grand Forks (2013) collects 128 restaurant reviews by Marilyn Hagerty, a longtime columnist for the Grand Forks Herald in North Dakota, with a foreword by Anthony Bourdain. Hagerty became widely known in 2012 when her friendly review of a new local Olive Garden spread online. The reviews, spanning decades, cover diners, chain restaurants, cafes and family places, written plainly and kindly, and together they form a portrait of how a small American city eats.
