Foundation's Edge

Nearly five hundred years after Hari Seldon set his plan in motion, Golan Trevize, a councilman on the Foundation's home world of Terminus, suspects that the plan is running too smoothly and that the Second Foundation still secretly guides it. Exiled for saying so, he sets out with the scholar Janov Pelorat to look for the legendary planet Earth, while agents of both Foundations follow. Published in 1982, it was Asimov's first new Foundation novel in nearly three decades.

Elon Musk: “Asimov was amazing. His Foundation books were an inspiration for the need to make life multiplanetary while civilization is still strong.”
