Epistles, Volume I: Epistles 1-65
By Lucius Annaeus Seneca
Categories: Literature & Fiction, Religion & Spirituality
This Loeb Classical Library volume contains the first sixty-five of Seneca's moral letters to his friend Lucilius, with Latin text and facing English translation by Richard Gummere. Written late in his life, the letters offer practical Stoic advice on friendship, time, death, wealth, reading, travel and the pursuit of wisdom. They remain among the most widely read works of ancient philosophy.

- Shane Parrish: “After reading this I immediately ordered the others (66-92, and 93-124). The more Seneca I read, the more I wonder why I waited so long”
