Dolly Parton’s Billy the Kid Dances His Heart Out

Dolly Parton's Billy the Kid Dances His Heart Out (2025), written with Erica S. Perl, is a picture book in the Billy the Kid series with lyrics to an original Parton song. Billy has moved to Nashville, formed a band and toured coast to coast, but dancing on stage makes him nervous. When his band lands the opening slot at Dolly Parton's Doggy Dance Pawty, he signs his friends up for dance lessons and finds himself falling for the teacher.
