Discrimination and Disparities
Categories: Politics & Social Sciences
Discrimination and Disparities is economist Thomas Sowell's study of why economic and social outcomes differ among individuals, groups and nations, first published in 2018 and later revised and enlarged. Sowell argues that disparities are the norm rather than proof of discrimination, tracing them to geography, culture, demographics and other factors, and he distinguishes between kinds of discrimination and their actual costs.
