Dimensions: A Casebook of Alien Contact

By Jacques Vallée

Categories: Religion & Spirituality, Science & Math

In the first book of his Alien Contact trilogy, Jacques Vallée argues that UFO encounters are not ordinary visits from extraterrestrials but a recurring phenomenon that adapts to each culture and shapes human belief. He compares the luminous spheres, sounds, paralysis and cures reported at Fatima with modern UFO encounters, revisits the alleged abduction of Betty and Barney Hill and older contact lore, and makes his case against the extraterrestrial explanation before exploring the idea of other dimensions.
