Deaths and Entrances
By Dylan Thomas
Categories: Literature & Fiction
First published in 1946, this collection gathers poems Dylan Thomas wrote largely in wartime, many responding to air raids on London. It includes "A Refusal to Mourn the Death, by Fire, of a Child in London" and "Ceremony After a Fire Raid." Alongside them are poems of childhood and landscape such as "Poem in October" and "Fern Hill," as well as "The hunchback in the park," "In my craft or sullen art" and the long "Vision and Prayer."
