Chaos Monkeys: Obscene Fortune and Random Failure in Silicon Valley
Categories: Business & Money
Chaos Monkeys is a 2016 memoir by Antonio García Martínez, a former Goldman Sachs trader who founded an ad-tech startup, sold it to Twitter and became an early product manager for Facebook's ads business. He gives an irreverent insider account of Silicon Valley: venture capital pitches, acquisitions and the internal politics of a fast-growing tech giant, written in a sharp, often profane voice. It was a New York Times bestseller and was widely discussed as a candid look at start-up culture.

- Andrew Ross Sorkin: “The most fun business book I have read this year? "Chaos Monkeys: Obscene Fortune and Random Failure in Silicon Valley," by a former Facebook executive, Antonio García Martinez. I was sent a galley copy several months ago and picked it up with no intention of reading more than the first couple of pages. I don't think I looked up until about three hours later.”
