Beastie Boys Book (2018) by Michael Diamond and Adam Horovitz tells the story of the Beastie Boys, from teenage punks in New York to one of hip-hop's best-known groups. Mike D and Ad-Rock trace the band's early years, its records and tours, and its friendships, with tributes to their bandmate Adam Yauch, who died in 2012. The book mixes essays, photographs, recipes, maps and pieces by guest contributors, capturing the band's humor and the city that shaped it.
