Are You My Mother? A Comic Drama is a graphic memoir by Alison Bechdel, published in 2012. A companion to Fun Home, which explored her relationship with her father, the book turns to Bechdel's mother, a reserved woman who gave up acting and writing ambitions. Bechdel draws on her own psychotherapy, her dreams and the work of psychoanalyst Donald Winnicott to examine mothering, memory and how she became a writer.
