Anthony Bourdain's Hungry Ghosts

Anthony Bourdain and Joel Rose wrote this horror comic inspired by a traditional Japanese storytelling game. At a gathering of chefs hosted by a wealthy Russian, each cook tells a ghost story connected to food, drawing on legends from Japan and around the world. Each tale is illustrated by a different artist, and the book includes recipes for some of the dishes in the stories. The collection mixes folklore, horror and Bourdain's love of food.
